My Green Lighting are proud to present a leading Scandinavian company engaging in the design, development, and production of indoor and outdoor lighting – Nordlux. One of their key tasks is to help create a brighter and more colourful world.
They feature designs from leading designers:
Bønnelycke MDD: Bønnelycke is driven by an unsurpressable urge and desire to work constructively and innovatively. He started his career in 1988 with the design of lamps, furniture and interior spaces. Quickly, he became known as an unconventional architect with no whims and fancies.
Kaare Bækgaard: There is a very fine line between the simple and the banal. Through his design Kaare Bækgaard seeks to explore this border. With inspiration from the world of geometry he creates easily accessible lamps without unnecessary details. “To me design is the same as music: That which is complex is without strength, the banal lacks substance – but the simple is able to contain both of these qualities,” he explains.
Jesper Olsen: The philosophy behind Jesper Olsen’s design is clear: Reinterpreting classic Danish design and conveying it to modern shapes and technologies. Jesper Olsen consciously focuses on tradition and aesthetics, culminating in modern, timeless designs.
Here at My Green Lighting we have always said that low energy doesn’t have to mean ugly – adding the Nordlux range of lighting to the growing collection on My Green Lighting broadens the appeal of low energy lighting in new colourful and sophisticated ways. From the Funk range (shown above) featuring 5 difference elements and up to 90 colour combinations each containing a 13w or 18w sanded low energy globe bulb, through bright Cyclone desk and clamp lamps, precision desk lamps such as Mento with analog-style switches (shown right, available in white, black and chrome, wall, clamp and desk/table variants), ultra-modern Bali desk and wall lamps with integrated touch switch to the Acantus pendant there is something to suit all tastes and rooms in your home.
Colourful and Money Saving:
Many of the fittings are supplied with LED’s fitted, making them low energy from the moment you turn them on. On other fittings there may be a ‘max 40/60w’ limit listed but we have suggested suitable low energy options for you – just look for the ‘Spares and Accessories’ tab on any product page.
