Often described as a compact fluorescent this bulb is like a fluorescent tube coiled up into a spiral. The new T2 versions are very quick to start up and are very bright for their compact size. The smaller tubes used in the current range of products mean that the smallest lamps are very small indeed. The high powered spiral lamps, are quite large, but will produce a very large amount of light.

These bulbs are the daylight versions, which are very bright white light instead of the usual warm yellow light. Many of our customers prefer this light as it's easier to see and read with, renders colour more accurately, and can help combat seasonal affective disorder (SAD).
