Pin-based low energy bulbs. These lamps have 2 or 4 electric pins with plastic support clips at the center in various layouts depending on the wattage of the bulb.

Each manufacturer has their own brand name for this type of bulb:

Kosnic : Exun
GE : Biax T/E
Osram : Dulux T/E
Philips : Master PL-T
Sylvania : Lynx-TE

G24d (2 pin)

G24d 2 pin bulbs - the 'd' is for double pin.

G24d PL lamps are available with either a double or triple turn tube.

Double turn bulbs usually have a square lamp base (G24d) and triple turn usually have a hexagonal lamp base (GX24d).

G24q (4 pin)

G24q 4 pin bulbs - the 'q' is for quad pin.

G24q PL lamps are available with either a double or triple turn tube.

Double turn bulbs have a square lamp base (G24q) and triple turn have a hexagonal lamp base (GX24q).

2G11 and 2G7 (4 pin)

Rectangular-based 2G11 and 2G7 4 pin lamps with a single turn tube.

G23 (2 pin)

Rectangular-based G23 2 pin lamps with a single turn tube.
