This is product manufacturers code 2882 by tp24. If you need to contact us about this product, please quote our product reference of 1197.
These lamps use an LED cluster design with 48 individual LEDs, rather than a small number of high powered very bright LEDs.
This is an L1 lamp that means that it can be used in in dedicated low energy fittings from tp24. The L1 lamp cap, is backward compatible with GU10 fittings, so it can be used in many, many other spot light fittings.
These lamps are not suitable for use in dimmer circuits. This might also include some electronic 'soft start' switches. Please ensure that you use these lamps with a regular on/off switch only.
These lamps have an average life of 20,000 hours, and to back this up the manufacturer (tp24) also extends their standard guarantee of 12 months to 2 years as long as you register the lamps with them and as long as they have been used correctly.
This is a manufacturer-direct guarantee which means that the manufacturer will handle product faults and failures directly with the end users. When you need to make a claim under the guarantee, please contact tp24 directly using the details printed on to each bulb (phone: 01354 694 591 or 08448 228 096, email: firstname.lastname@example.org) to have the problem resolved. Unfortunately, My Green Lighting can not handle claims under by this manufacturer-direct guarantee.
tp24 have recently (January 2012) contacted us to explain that the colour temperature of their LED lamps might vary between different batches. This means that some lamps may be a wamer (more yellow) or cooler (more white/blue) white than others, and any replacements whether purchased or provided free of charge under their two year guarantee may vary in colour from any previous bulb.
tp24 told us that: “we as the manufacturer will only replace the lamps due to failure and will not replace lamps due to a variance in the colour the LED lamps are sold at a very competitive price and are suitable for domestic use but due to our manufacturing process we will not guarantee that the exact colour will be replicated in every batch manufactured and supplied and as such we will under no circumstances replace lamps because of a perceived colour variance in the batches. Also please be aware that LED lamps over time will vary in colour as do any lamps.
We do of course make every endeavour to ensure that there is as little variance as possible in all batches manufactured.”
If you are bamboozled by the number of GU10 LED bulbs available, please use our LED GU10 chooser to help you make the right choice.
