This is a 12v 50w MR16 spot lamp. The MR26 fitting has two straight pins that push into the lamp holder. It is also known as GU5.3

While they might not be the most efficient light bulbs around, until there is a suitable replacement there is no need to pay ridiculous high street prices for replacement bulbs.

This is an aluminium reflector lamp designed to send the heat from the lamp forward into the room rather than backward into the light fitting.
