Switching function

This low energy light fitting uses switching to allow different parts of the light to be turned off to reduce the level of light and the power consumption. L1 low energy lamps are not suitable for dimming, so switching makes a 100% energy saving while providing variable mood lighting, and the option to balance the lighting level.

The switching function is activated by rapidly cycling the power to the light fitting, which controls the internal switch mechanism to activate different parts of the light fitting. The switching sequence is shown on the specification tab when applicable. The default state is for all parts of the light to be on, which the fitting resets to after being fully off for a short period of time.
