This T5 plug, is re-wireable, (i.e. it's not sealed) so it can be used to make custom-length T5 link leads.
If you're installing more than one T5 fitting, then you could use the mains cable lead supplied with each fitting. The supplied mains cable already has a T5 socket on one end, so you can simply cut it to size and use the extra T5 plug to make the length of link lead that you require. Alternatively, use your own cable, and a re-wireable T5 socket, to make a link lead of any length.
