A GU10 downlight, suitable for use with all GU10 lamps including longer, low energy models. This unit is 90 minute fire rated and finished in chrome. As these fittings have longer bodies it is important to check that their is enough ceiling void space to allow for the longer down light can.
This downlight is not supplied with a bulb as there are a variety of bulbs to choose from. See the spares and accessories for lamp options.
Built-in fire protection technology
These downlight units contain an integral fire barrier material that in the event of a fire, seals the ventilation openings and maintains the fire rating of the ceiling. In modern homes, ceilings can be constructed to give 30, 60 or 90 minute fire protection. The fitting has been tested for all 3 ceiling types.
Being a one-piece design, no further fire hoods or other devices are required which makes this the easiest and most convenient method of installing downlights in a fire rated ceiling. These fittings have been thoroughly tested for safety and performance and are eminently suitable for the installation methods commonly used in new houses today.

Clearance products are products that have previously been available at full price either from us or direct from our suppliers, but the particular range or product is now being discontinued or is overstocked. This means that they are being sold at a discounted rate but stocks are limited and once they have gone there may be no more available.
They are therefore brand new products available at ridiculously reduced prices and should not be confused with B-Grade stock, which is products that are cosmetically damaged, or ex-demo products etc.
