This is a 6v 10w MR11 spot lamp. The MR11 fitting has two straight pins that push into the lamp holder. It is also known as GU4 because the pins are 4mm apart.
This lamp has been specifically designed for use with fibre optics. It has an open front, without the usual glass cover. Because the lamp is open-fronted it is possible to touch the halogen capsule in side. You should avoid this as the natural oils in your skin can considerably reduce the lifespan of the bulb.
Clearance products are products that have previously been available at full price either from us or direct from our suppliers, but the particular range or product is now being discontinued or is overstocked.
