This is a low voltage, 24v 50w MR16 spot lamp. The MR16 fitting has two straight pins that push into the lamp holder. It is also known as GU5.3
While they might not be the most efficient light bulbs around, until there is a suitable replacement there is no need to pay ridiculous high street prices for replacement bulbs.
This is a dichroic lamp that sends the heat backwards into the light fitting, not aluminium which send the heat forward. This is a 24v lamp and not the standard 12v it also has a glass front with UV filter lens. This 24v spot light bulb has a beam angle of 38 degrees.
The average lamp life for this product is 2000 hours.
