The decorative filament range uses low energy LEDs as its filaments. These vintage style lamps have a very close resemblance to traditional incandescent bulbs.
Light is emitted from LED filaments uniformly and evenly in all directions, instead of focusing it in a specific area in the way that many LED light bulbs do. These energy saving lamps provide a retro look at the fraction of the energy cost of an old style incandescent light bulb.
The energy efficient LED filament light bulb has an amber/gold finish which provides a warmer white output (2000K) compared to a standard LED Rustika lamp (2500K). This lamp is 4.5w, 140 lumen, and 25,000 hours. This Rustika lamp features a spiral filament for added interest.
It is sometimes described as a vintage, retro, heritage, or even 'squirrel cage' bulb, reminiscent of firelight.
This range of LED is dimmable for use with trailing edge LED dimmers and have been tested with Varilight JQP401W.
