A GU10 downlight, suitable for use with standard size GU10 lamps (55mm long) which includes some LED lamps. This unit is 90 minute fire rated and finished in brass.

This downlight is not supplied with a bulb as there are a variety of bulbs to choose from. See the spares and accessories above for more options.

Built-in fire protection technology
These downlight units contain an integral fire barrier material that in the event of a fire, seals the ventilation openings and maintains the fire rating of the ceiling. In modern homes, ceilings can be constructed to give 30, 60 or 90 minute fire protection. The fitting has been tested for all 3 ceiling types.

Convenience
Being a one-piece design, no further fire hoods or other devices are required which makes this the easiest and most convenient method of installing downlights in a fire rated ceiling. These fittings have been thoroughly tested for safety and performance and are eminently suitable for the installation methods commonly used in new houses today.
