The Luxembourg is an outdoor nautical style wall lantern from Nordlux. The Scandinavian designed Luxembourg wall mounted bracket is finished in galvanized steel metal and has a domed glass shade.
The light is equipped with a PIR motion sensor, which makes the light switch on automatically when someone passes.
Make this light fitting low energy by selecting an energy saving halogen lamp. The manufacturer does not recommend using a CFL (compact fluorescent bulb) with this light fixture as it will cause the PIR sensor to malfunction. Not all LEDs will work with this fitting and may flicker, we would recommend a low wattage halogen or incandescent lamp for the best results.
The galvanised finish makes the light fixture resistant to the Nordic climate. We recommend light fixtures in galvanised steel for coastal areas. As this fitting has a hot dip galvanised finish fittings can vary from bright and shiny, spangled, matt grey, or a combination of these. This is a rustic styled finish.
