This is a 3000K warm white LED version of a G9 halogen capsule.
It is rated for 50,000 hours (halogen capsule ~2000 hours), it only uses 3w of power when in use and you no longer have to worry about touching the capsule with your fingers - natural oils from your fingers will not reduce the life of the bulb.
The small size of G9 halogen capsule bulbs means that many modern decorative light fittings utilise a G9 bulb, as they will fit in small glass shades where standard bulbs wouldn't fit.
These capsules are roughly equivalent to a 20w halogen capsule.
Clearance products are products that have previously been available at full price either from us or direct from our suppliers, but the particular range or product is now being discontinued or is overstocked.
