This is a low voltage, 12v 50w MR16 spot lamp. The MR16 fitting has two straight pins that push into the lamp holder. It is also known as GU5.3
This is a dichroic lamp that sends the heat backwards into the light fitting, not aluminium which sends the heat forward. This lamp does not have a glass front and has a beam angle of 38 degrees.
This lamp has been specifically designed for use with fibre optics. It has an open front, without the usual glass cover. Because the lamp is open-fronted it is possible to touch the halogen capsule in side. You should avoid this as the natural oils in your skin can considerably reduce the lifespan of the bulb.
Clearance products are products that have previously been available at full price either from us or direct from our suppliers, but the particular range or product is now being discontinued or is overstocked.
