This is a 12v 10w MR11 spot lamp. The MR11 fitting has two straight pins that push into the lamp holder. It is also known as GU4 because the pins are 4mm apart.
This bulb is the closed type with a glass cover.
While they might not be the most efficient light bulbs around, until there is a suitable replacement there is no need to pay ridiculous high street prices for replacement bulbs.
