The Luxram classic deco amber/gold LED spiral filament ST64 “Squirrel cage” light bulb is a popular replacement in decorative and vintage light fittings or in hotels and hospitality environments for creating a retro ambience.
As LED products produced using new technologies are used with old dimmer technology, achieving effective and smooth dimming can be challenging. For this dimmable lamp Luxram have tested, and recommend Varilight V-Pro dimmers. Other dimmers designed for use with LED lights may also work, but dimmers designed for halogen lights must not be used as this could damage the light and/or the incompatible dimmer module. Additionally, if a dimmer other than a Varilight V-Pro is used, no guarantee will apply. Always consult the instructions for your dimmer - if in any doubt use the recommended dimmer from Varilight.
