MR8 bulbs have a diameter of 25mm, or 8 x 8ths an an inch. They are not very common as they are so small. They are used in a wide variety of applications requiring a small source of light.
Sometimes MR8 bulbs are referred to as small GU4 spot bulbs because the center of the two pins are 4mm apart.
