The longer version of the Clamp wall light is perfect to illuminate mirrors or artwork in bedrooms, dressing rooms, halls and even bathrooms. The tubular opal glass shade is clamped firmly in place by a black metal base and meets all the safety requirements to operate safely away from direct water sprays. This item has a rating of IP44, meaning that it is fully splash proof and suitable for use in a bathroom setting. LED's use up to 75% less energy and last up to 20 times longer than incandescent bulbs.
As LED products produced using new technologies are used with old dimmer technology, achieving effective and smooth dimming can be challenging. For this dimmable lamp Searchlight have tested, and recommend Varilight V-Pro dimmers. Other dimmers designed for use with LED lights may also work, but dimmers designed for halogen lights must not be used as this could damage the light and/or the incompatible dimmer module. Always consult the instructions for your dimmer - if in any doubt use the recommended dimmer from Varilight.
