30.5cm/12" Brushed chrome down rod extension for use with Westinghouse fans with dual mount or down rod systems.
For optimal performance of a ceiling fan, fan blades should be 2,2 m from the floor, but no higher than 2,4 m -2,7 m. For ceilings 2,7 m or higher, an extension down rod is recommended to bring the fan blades down to the proper height
To ensure efficient operation, best possible air circulation and cooling in rooms with 3 m high ceilings, a 30,5 cm extension down rod should be used to position the fan blades at a suitable height. This extension down rod features a stainless steel finish and 2,2 cm diameter that is compatible with Westinghouse stainless steel ceiling fans. Our extension rods also include plug-in wires for easy installation.
A down rod may be required for angled or sloped ceilings to ensure the proper height and position of your ceiling fan and to prevent fan blades from hitting the ceiling.
