46cm/18" brushed steel down rod extension for use with Westinghouse fans with dual mount or down rod systems.

For optimal performance of a ceiling fan, fan blades should be 2,2 m from the floor, but no higher than 2,4 m -2,7 m. For ceilings 2,7 m or higher, an extension down rod is recommended to bring the fan blades down to the proper height

To ensure efficient operation, best possible air circulation and cooling in rooms with 3,4 m high ceilings, a 46 cm extension down rod should be used to position the fan blades at a suitable height. This extension down rod features an antique nickel finish and 2,2 cm diameter that is compatible with Westinghouse antique nickel ceiling fans. Our extension rods also include plug-in wires for easy installation.
