The 85mm, satin nickel Evofire+ Fire Rated Downlight is a safe and attractive light fitting. The open-back design allows airflow to extend lamp life compared to traditional designs.
Evofire+ is supplied with the replaceable Evolight LED Module (not a standard GU10 light bulb). This means that it can be installed into much tighter spaces, with a total height of only 39mm.
As well being very tough thanks to its steel construction, The Evofire is also a highly aesthetic choice for Fire Rated lighting. This low profile downlight has a 1mm blend-in bezel is up to 10 times thinner than typical IP65 rated downlights.
As LED products produced using new technologies are used with old dimmer technology, achieving effective and smooth dimming can be challenging. For this dimmable lamp Integral LED have tested, and recommend Varilight V-Pro dimmers. Other dimmers designed for use with LED lights may also work, but dimmers designed for halogen lights must not be used as this could damage the light bulbs and / or the incompatible dimmer module. Always consult the instructions for your dimmer - if in any doubt use the recommended dimmer from Varilight.
