Jade is an 8w LED, fixed downlight. This dimmable, fire rated downlight from Leyton Lighting come supplied with a white bezel, other bezels are available (sold separately). The colour changing technology enables it to be easily switched between 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 6000K after installation.
As LED products produced using new technologies are used with old dimmer technology, achieving effective and smooth dimming can be challenging. For this dimmable lamp Leyton Lighting have tested, and recommend Varilight V-Pro dimmers. Other dimmers designed for use with LED lights may also work, but dimmers designed for halogen lights must not be used as this could damage the light and/or the incompatible dimmer module. Always consult the instructions for your dimmer - if in any doubt use the recommended dimmer from Varilight.
Selectable colour temperature The colour can be changed using a switch on the back of the downlight. This is perfect for new builds, retrofits, electricians and builders who are installing downlights in a home where the colour preference is unknown or undecided and can be changed at a later date by the end user.
