8v 3w ribbed candle shape bulb often used in Christmas welcome bridges, Jewish Hanukkah Menorah or German Schwibbogen. Connector is E10 Miniature Screw (MES)

The origin of the welcome light or Christmas bridge isn't actually that well known but it is likely to be a version of the Jewish Menorah from the Hanukkah festival of light in early December, possibly combined with the Schwibbogen candle holder from Saxony.
The lights were traditionally used to welcome workers home in the dark months of winter but can now be found in many window sills and even as a welcoming table decoration for the festive period.
