This low energy reflector bulb, will save up to 30% of your energy usage compared with a standard 60w incandescent bulb.
It uses a 42w Halogen capsule in side an outer glass casing in the shape of regular R63 bulb. The halogen capsule, is more efficient than a regular filament bulb so this 42w lamp produces just as much light as a regular 60w lamp.
Because this is a halogen lamp it's fully compatible with older styled halogen dimmer switches.
