The Washington is an adjustable task lamp that beautifully combines the industrial functionality of an architect’s desk lamp with the classic elegance of Tiffany-style art glass.

The conical shade is crafted from hand-cut art glass. It features long, vertical panels of creamy off-white glass, finished with a decorative geometric border at the rim consisting of small amber and deep red triangles.

This is a highly functional piece featuring an articulating "swing arm" design. It has two main pivot points (one at the base and one at the "elbow") secured by decorative wing-nut tension screws, allowing you to adjust the height and angle of the light precisely where needed.

All Tiffany style lighting is hand made. Initially a large rectangular piece glass is manufactured (1200mm x 600mm). From this the smaller glass is cut to shape. Each glass is then laid into a mould and soldered. Due to this manufacturing process there could be colour variants from glass to glass, making each piece unique.
