This 28w flame-tip clear halosaver halogen bulb with a small screw cap is a direct replacement for a standard 40w bulb. It's the same size and produces the same amount of light. It's also 100% dimmable just like a regular light bulb. The only difference is that it will use 30% less power.
HaloSaver is a new range of lamps which offers the versatility of traditional halogen lamps, with the advantages of energy savings. Offering 30% energy savings compared with 'normal' bulbs, this lamp will reduce your energy costs.
It's not as efficient as a compact fluorescent bulb, but if fluorescent technology isn't suitable for your for any reason, then this is the next best thing. Compared with a regular incandescent light bulb, these halogen equivalents will use approximately 30% less electricity.
Unlike compact fluorescent energy saving lamps, the HaloSaver range of bulbs are fully dimmable.
