Due to the higher wattage and heat output of these GU10 light bulbs you should ensure that the light fitting they are used in has with good air flow around the bulb, this will help to prevent heat build-up and protect the electronics. These lamps will have a shorter life span if used in enclosed light fittings, or in downlights covered with insulation and would not be covered under manufacturer's guarantee.
As LED products produced using new technologies are used with old dimmer technology, achieving effective and smooth dimming can be challenging. For this dimmable lamp DazzLED have tested, and recommend Varilight V-Pro dimmers. Other dimmers designed for use with LED lights may also work, but dimmers designed for halogen lights must not be used as this could damage the light and/or the incompatible dimmer module. Additionally, if a dimmer other than a Varilight V-Pro is used, no guarantee will apply. Always consult the instructions for your dimmer - if in any doubt use the recommended dimmer from Varilight.
