This low energy, low voltage MR16 lamp runs on AC and is non-dimmable. When switching from halogen lamps to energy saving LED low voltage lamps, it's important to check the minimum load of your transformers. If the minimum load of your current transformers is not being met by the LED lamps, you may need to change your halogen transformers to compatible LED drivers.
For DC it is important that the DC supply is a constant voltage supply product or system. All stated performance parameters are based on a 12V AC supply.
As LED products produced using new technologies are used with old dimmer technology, achieving effective and smooth dimming can be challenging. For this dimmable lamp Integral LED have tested, and recommend Varilight V-Pro dimmers. Other dimmers designed for use with LED lights may also work, but dimmers designed for halogen lights must not be used as this could damage the light bulbs and / or the incompatible dimmer module. Additionally, if a dimmer other than a Varilight V-Pro is used, no guarantee will apply. Always consult the instructions for your dimmer - if in any doubt use the recommended dimmer from Varilight.
