Topaz is a 5w LED, fixed downlight. This dimmable, fire rated downlight from Leyton Lighting comes supplied with a white bezel, other bezels are available (sold separately). The colour changing technology enables it to be easily switched between 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 6000K after installation.

As LED products produced using new technologies are used with old dimmer technology, achieving effective and smooth dimming can be challenging. For this dimmable lamp Leyton Lighting have tested, and recommend Varilight V-Pro dimmers. Other dimmers designed for use with LED lights may also work, but dimmers designed for halogen lights must not be used as this could damage the light and/or the incompatible dimmer module. Additionally, if a dimmer other than a Varilight V-Pro is used, no guarantee will apply. Always consult the instructions for your dimmer - if in any doubt use the recommended dimmer from Varilight.

Selectable colour temperature The colour can be changed using a switch on the back of the downlight. This is perfect for new builds, retrofits, electricians and builders who are installing downlights in a home where the colour preference is unknown or undecided and can be changed at a later date by the end user.

• Warm white setting is 2700K and produces 440 lumen
• Warm white setting is 3000K and produces 460 lumen
• Cool white setting is 4000K and produces 500 lumen (the manufacturer describes this as 'neutral white')
• Daylight setting is 6000K and produces 490 lumen (the manufacturer describes this as 'cool white')
